Wednesday night’s fourth episode of Bellator: Fight Master drew an average of 505,000 viewers on Spike TV.
The reality show had been showing an encouraging rise in ratings in previous weeks after a poor start, but unfortunately this week showed a significant dip, down 171,000 viewers from the previous episode.
Overall that leaves it placed third out of the four episodes so far, only beating out the season premiere which drew just 432,000 viewers.
That’s disappointing as it had appeared that the show was starting to find it’s feet, but now it’s almost back to square one. We’ll have to wait until next week’s ratings to see if this is just a momentary blip, or the sign of a downward trend.
For now though, four weeks in, the average ratings so far are lower than I’d anticipated when the series was first announced.
