Paul Daley picked up a swift TKO victory in his latest fight at Cage Warriors 57 in the UK last night.
Daley fed his opponent Lukasz Chlewicki a steady diet of vicious knees and elbows from the clinch during the first round, opening up a nasty cut on the Polish fighter’s head in the process.
The fight was then called off in-between after the cageside doctor deemed Chlewicki unfit to continue due to the cut, earning Daley a TKO stoppage.
Daley is now unbeaten in four fights, with all four being earned by way of either knockout or technical knockout inside of two rounds.
The 30 year-old former UFC and Strikeforce welterweight signed for Bellator last year, but was unable to compete in their first season on Spike TV earlier in 2013 due to visa issues stemming from an outstanding court case stemming from a bar fight.
However, that case has now been dropped and Daley is currently applying for his visa in the U.S so that he can compete in their upcoming ninth season.
If he doe so successfully then look for a potential match-up with another recent Bellator recruit ‘War Machine’ who was originally scheduled to fight him following a fan vote before Daley ran into legal troubles.
