UFC Fight Night 36: Fight Card

UFC Fight Night 36 takes place in Brazil this Saturday night and we’ve got the full fight card for you below.

The main event provides a very intriguing middleweight clash as former light-heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida looks to move into title contention in his new weight class with a victory over former Strikeforce 205lb title holder Gegard Mousasi.

The co-main event is also a very meaningful one for the middleweight division featuring two highly ranked fighters as Ronaldo ‘Jacare’ Souza squares off against Francis Carmont.

Once among the most hotly tipped rising Brazilian talents, Erick Silva must aim for consistency and claim a victory over the debuting Takenori Sato after going just 3-3 in the Octagon so far.

Viscardi Andrade earned a TKO victory over Bristol Marunde in his UFC debut last year, and will now attempt to build on that as he faces Nicholas Musoke who holds a win over Alessio Sakara in his only fight in the Octagon to date.

Finally, another Brazilian still trying to live up to his potential, Charles Oliveira, will attempt to get back on the win column when he locks horns with former TUF fighter Andy Ogle who’s also lost two of his last three fights.
