Dog Chapman Hunt For War Machine Leads To Mexican Border

Duane chapman AKA reality TV star ‘Dog The Bounty Hunter’ has publically vowed to hunt down MMA fighter War Machine who currently has seven warrants out for his arrest, and in his latest post on social media he hints the hunt could now be headed to Mexico.

Chapman stated in an TV interview last night that his phone was ringing off the hook with tips about the fighters whereabouts, and in his latest Twitter post, he writes, “#itsabouttogetreal #cmtdogandbeth #warmachine” while posting a series of images, most notably including one of a Mexican border checkpoint, along with what appears to be a sign for a martial arts gym, a snake and a San Diego Animal Services van.

The hunt for War Machine, who’s been on the run since the early morning of Friday morning when he’s alleged to have assaulted his long-time girlfriend Christy Mack and another man at her home in Las Vegas, has been centered up to this point in San Diego where the fighter was believed to be living, but there had been rumors that he might have fled to Mexico where he has family ties in order to evade capture.

If War Machine has made it to Mexico then it leaves ‘Dog’ and his crew in a tough spot as the last time he hunted a fugitive across the border he got into serious trouble with the law since bounty hunting is illegal there.

In 2003 ‘Dog’ tracked down fugitive Andrew Luster who had fled the U.S where he was wanted for multiple rape charges and was living in Mexico under an assumed name.

However, while attempting to take Luster back to the U.S, they, along with Chapman’s son Leland and colleague Tim ‘Young Blood’ Chapman, were arrested and put in jail. Luster was then moved to California where he’s now serving a 124 year sentence, while ‘Dog’ and his crew finally managed to obtain bail after going public with their story and bolted back to the U.S to avoid a potentially lengthy prison sentence.

In 2006 Chapman and the two members of his crew briefly found themselves in jail again, this time in the U.S after being arrested by U.S Marshalls acting on behalf of the Mexican government who were looking to extradite them for sentencing due to the fact that they had fled the country while out on bail.

They got out a day later and a lengthy legal battle followed before Mexico finally agreed to drop their extradition charges in 2007.

With that in mind it would be very surprising indeed if ‘Dog’ and his crew were to risk heading back into Mexico to hunt for War Machine who currently has a $20,000 bounty on his head.

In other news related to the case, it’s been reported that the official hunt for War Machine has now been handed over by the police to the U.S Marshals service.

Meanwhile, one of the victims of the allaged assault, Christy Mack, has now left hospital after receiving treatment for the serious injuries she sustained which included broken facial bones, a broken nose, fractured rib, lost teeth and a ruptured liver.

According to reports Mack intends to return to her career in the adult entertainment industry, but for the time being she is healing up and has already visited a dentist who offered to give her free dental work to fix her broken and missing teeth.
