UFC 186 Bonus Awards

Following last night’s UFC 186 event in Montreal, Canada the recipients of the evening’s $50,000 bonus awards were announced.

Earning ‘Fight Of The Night’ honors on this occasion was the back and forth preliminary scrap between Chad Laprise and Bryan Barberena which went the full three rounds with Laprise emerging with the unanimous decision win.

As you might expect, flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson going into the record books with the latest finish in UFC history, coming with just one second remaining in his five round title fight with Kyoji Horiguchi via armbar, once enough to secure him one of the two ‘Performance Of The Night’ bonuses.

Finally, picking up the second ‘Performance Of The Night’ award was Thomas Almeida who looked terrific against Yves Jabuoin as his destructive work to the head and body resulted in a first round TKO stoppage on the main card.
