Video footage has emerged of Nate Diaz and Michael Johnson becoming involved in a brief altercation in a hotel lobby prior to today’s weigh-ins in Florida.
There’s not a whole lot to the footage, which was captured by fellow UFC fighter Tamdan McCrory, but it appears that Diaz shoves his rival who’s then held back before he can respond. As Johnson is being ushered away he angrily says, “You got your boys, and you want to act tough?”
This is nothing new for the Diaz brothers who have made a habit of getting into trouble before, during and after their fights over the years, and UFC president Dana White will no doubt be keeping on his toes later today when the two square off after the weigh-ins.
