Watch Jon Jones And Daniel Cormier’s Confrontation After Press Conference

Jones Cormier bitter rivals

The bad blood between Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier shows no sign of abating judging by this footage of the two getting into a confrontation prior to the UFC: Unstoppable press conference recently.

Of course Jones and Cormier already have an infamous brawl at a press conference in Las Vegas back in 2014 prior to their first Octagon encounter, but this time they only engaged in a battle of words.

Ther back and forth verbal jabs between the two light-heavyweight stars is believed to extend beyond what’s caught on video here, but here’s a transcription of what was said in the footage.

“Jones: “You’re the lamest bitch ass I’ve ever met, bro.”
Cormier: “What does that make you?”
Jones: “Talking all this sh*t outside with your bodyguards.”
Cormier: “When have I ever backed down from a fight with you?”
Jones: “Daniel, suck my d*ck, man. F*ck your cheerleading squad.”

Both fighter’s respective camps have been arguing back and forth over who actually started this verbal encounter.

“As soon as he steps outside, the guy turns into the biggest dick on the planet,” Cormier’s team-mate Chi Lewis-Perry said of Jones during an interview on The MMA Hour radio show. “…He just started smack talking and using stuff that I wouldn’t repeat to Daniel, and we just kind of lost it after.”

However, Jones manager Malki Kawa inevitably has a different version of events.

“We go outside getting ready to get into our cars, both groups,” Kawa told Ariel Helwani. “DC said something to Jon. Jon told him, ‘DC, outside of anything we have to do together, don’t talk to me. Just keep it professional.’ DC started mouthing off. So that mouthing off led Jon to then begin mouthing off to the whole crew, because then they all started getting into it with Jon.”
