UFC star Paige VanZant has safely made it through to the final of ABC’s ‘Dancing With The Stars’ show after another stellar set of performances on last night’s show.

There was a lot of pressure to perform with two of the five remaining celebrities set to be eliminated from the competition ahead of next weeks finale, but PVZ took it all in her stride as she earned a perfect 30/30 score for her first dance of the evening, a samba with her dance partner Mark Ballas and another pro, Alan Bersten (who VanZant is rumored to be dating).

The second dance of the evening was a sexy Argentine Tango with PVZ and Ballas turning up the heat enough to earn another impressive 29/30 score from the judges.

After that it was down to the tense elimination section of the show, with PVZ having a strong overall score from the judges, but still facing potentially going home depending on viewer votes.

However, despite earning a perfect 60/60 over his two dances on the night, Boyz II Men’s Wayna Morris was eliminated, as was NFL star Antonio Brown.

So, PVZ makes it to the last show of the season, a tremendous achievement for the 22 year-old, although her background in dance had highlighted her as one of the favorites heading into the competition.

It’s going to be tough going for VanZant to win the show outright however given the competition she’s up against in the final week of the show, with model Nyle DiMarco having wowed both the audience and judges throughout the season due to the fact that he’s deaf, while TV personality Ginger Zee has also been a front-runner.

Whatever happens, DWTS has given VanZant’s career a huge boost and hopefully she’ll be able to use her newfound celebrity status to generate more interest in her next fight in the Octagon, which hasn’t been booked yet, but will likely happen some time after UFC 200 in July.
