UFC 211 Fight Card

UFC 211 takes place this coming Saturday night, May 13th in Dallas Texas and features the best fight card of the year so far, so let’s take a closer look at what’s in store.

Headlining the show will be a heavyweight title fight between current champion Stipe Miocic and former titleholder Junior dos Santos, a rematch of their hard-hitting 2014 encounter which JDS won by decision.

There’s more title fight action in the co-main event, with strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk set to go up against Jessica andrade in her latest defense of the belt.

BJJ ace Demian Maia is surely almost within reach of a welterweight title shot now, but he still has to get past the always tough Jorge Masvidal first.

There’s also intriuging featherweight action on the main card as current No.2 contender Frankie Edgar attempts to derail rising Mexican star Yair Rodriguez’s hype train.

Opening up the main card on Saturday night will be a clash of two talented flyweights, as former title contender Henry Cejudo locks horns with Sergio Pettis.

The featured preliminary fight is also worth looking out for, as former lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez returns to fight Dustin Poirier.
