Invicta FC 23 took place last night and we’ve got all the results below.
In the main event of the evening, the undefeated Agnieszka Niedzwiedz made an immediate impact in her Bellator debut as she emerged victorious on the scorecards (29-28 x3) against Vanessa Porto.
Porto got the bettter of the striking exchanges during the fight, with her leg kicks in particular taking their toll, but Niedzwiedz was able to land several takedowns and control her opponent, without ever looking like getting a finish, and that was deemed to be enough by the judges to give her the nod.
There was no doubt about who won the co-main event, however, as Roxanne Modafferi registered one of the best wins of her career against Sarah D’Alelio.
Showcoasting improved stand-up, Modafferi was able to oustrike D’Alelio, and nicely transitioned to a takedown in the third round that led to ground and pound and a few elbow strikes that opened up a cut on her opponent and led to a TKO stoppage.
