Piechota got the better of Wilson in all three rounds here, starting with the first, where he took his opponent’s back while standing while looking for a rear-naked choke and then eventually brought him to the mat, where further attempts to finish the submission didn’t pay off. The second round was quiet, with Piechota leaving it until the final seconds to unleash a straight right that floored Wilson. Piechota also troubled Wilson on the mat in the final five minutes, and always had an armbar locked in the dying seconds, but ultimately had to settle for the decision victory.
