A light-heavyweight between Ovince Saint Preux and Tyson Pedro has been announced for UFC Fight Night 132 in Singapore on June 23rd.
OSP is coming off a first round standing guillotine choke submission loss against Ilir Latifi back in February.
That brought an end to a three-fight winning streak that had seen Saint Preux in fine form, recording back-to-back von flue choke finishes against Marcos Rogerio de Lima and Yushin Okami, plus a head kick KO of Corey Anderson in 2017.
As for Pedro, he secured a first round kimura submission victory against Saparbak Safarov in his native Australia in February.
That made up for having lost his previous fight to Ilir Latifi by decision, though prior to that he’d won his first two fights in the UFC back-to-back against Khalil Rountree Jr and Paul Craig.
In addition to announcing this fight, the UFC also revealed that their trip to Singapore will be the first in what’s set to be an annual trip to the country for the next three years.
OSP Vs Pedro will join a UFC Fight Night 132 card that will be headlined by Donald Cerrone Vs Leon Edwards, while Jessica Eye Vs Jessica-Rose Clark is among the other fights scheduled for the show.
