Conor McGregor Targets Community Service To Avoid Jail Sentence

Conor Mcgregor

Conor McGregor’s legal team are currently attempting to negotiate a plea deal to keep Conor McGregor out of jail as a result of his attack on a fighter bus in the days leading up to UFC 223 in Brooklyn back in April, and it seems that community service is one of the main options on the table.

According to the Irish Daily Star, McGregor is discussing potential community service options ahead of his next court appearance on July 26th, and he’s expressed an interest in helping children in the inner-city region on New York.

It’s believed that McGregor could focus in particular on the NYPD’s Police Athletic League, which seeks to provide sporting activities to disadvantaged kids of all ages in the neighbourhood, and with his extensive knowledge of mixed martial arts and boxing, ‘The Notorious’ would certainly have plenty to offer in that regard.

“He wants to give back and this is the best way he can do that,” an unnamed source with knowledge of the negotiations said.
