Dana White Tuesday Night Contender Series Season 2 Episode 6 Results

Episode 6 of the latest season of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series took place last night and featured the much-talked about one-armed fighter Nick Newell competing for a UFC contract, but things didn’t go the way of the former WSOF and LFA fighter.

Instead it was his opponent Alex Munoz who emerged victorious in the main event of the show, using his wrestling to get the better of Newell to earn a unanimous decision verdict (30-27 x3) from the judges.

That wasn’t enough to earn Munoz a UFC contract however, but after producing first round TKO victories, Jimmy Crute and Jeff Hughes did secure a chance to fight in the Octagon.

Sodiq Yusuff also won a UFC contract following a unanimous decision victory over Mike Davis, while Chase Hooper secured a development deal following his win on the scorecards over Canaan Kawaihae.
