A lightweight fight between Michael Johnson and Stevie Ray has been added to the UFC Fight Night 162 card in Singapore on October 26th.
Johnson had a tough time of it last time out, suffering a knockout loss against Josh Emmett back in March.
Prior to that Johnson had picked up back-to-back wins over Andre Fili and Artem Lobov, which had seemed to have got him back on track after a dismal run of form that had seen him win just once in his previous six fights.
As for Ray, he’s also coming off a knockout loss against Leonardo Santos in Stockholm back in June, following on from a decision win over Jessin Ayari.
The harsh reality though is that he’s only won once in his last four outings, having also picked up losses against Paul Felder and Kajan Johnson, so a win in October will be a must for him.
Johnson vs. Ray joins a UFC Fight Night 162 card that will be headlined by a welterweight fight between Ben Askren and Demian Maia.
