Following last night’s UFC Fight Night 203 event in Las Vegas the recipients of the evening’s $50,000 bonus awards were announced.

On this occasion the UFC opted to forgo a ‘Fight Of The Night’ award in favor of dishing out four ‘Performance Of The night’ bonuses instead.

Among the winners of the performance awards was Song Yadong, whose power punches were proving problematic for Marlon Moraes early in the fight, leading to a short flurry in which he landed a clean uppercut that floored the former title contender for a big knockout victory.

Elsewhere on the main card, Khalil Rountree Jr. also secured a performance bonus after his hard-hitting destruction of Karl Roberson.

After a competitive first round, Rountree turned up in the heat early in the second and that led to him catching Roberson clean with a right hook that sent him to the mat. Rountree then got up and landed a powerful kick to the body, and as Roberson rose back to his feet he sent him down with another big punch to secure the TKO finish.

Cody Brundage came under sustained fire from Dalcha Lungiambula early in their preliminary card fight and looked in danger of being stopped, but he then seized on a guillotine choke as he was being taken down and forced his opponent to submit.

The final performance bonus went to Azamat Murzakanov, who waited until the third round to unexpectedly air-mail Tafon Nchukwi a flying knee strike that knocked him out.
