Bellator 160 took place last night in Anaheim, California, and we’ve got all the results for you below.

In the main event of the evening, Ben Henderson picked up his victory in the Bellator cage against Patricio ‘Pitbull’ Freire, but not in the way he would have wanted.

An extremely cautious first round saw neither fighter throwing anything significant, and that theme continued into the second round, until mid-way through the round Freire fired off a few strikes against the cage and then moved away, while motioning to the referee that he’d had enough.

It would later emerge that Freire had actually broken his shin in the first round after Henderson checked a leg kick. He tried to fight through it, but by 2.26mins into the second round he couldn’t take it any more, and so Henderson earns the TKO victory.

Afterwards it was announced that Henderson will now go on to fight Michael Chandler for Bellator’s lightweight title.

Earlier in the evening, Derek Anderson racked up a unanimous decision win over Saad Awad in a closely contested battle, while Georgi Karakhanyan made short work of Bubba Jenkins with an overhand right KO just 53 seconds into their rematch, and A.J McKee secured a guillotine choke submission early in the second round of his fight with Cody Walker.
