Bellator 237 took place last night in Japan and we’ve got all the results for you below.
In the main event of the evening, Fedor Emelianenko made short work of Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson with a TKO stoppage mid-way through the first round.
The 43-year-old Fedor still seemed agile and began peppering ‘Rampage’ with punches in the opening minute of the fight, though most were coming off his opponent’s guard.
‘Rampage’ had to cut weight just to make 265lbs for this fight and by his own admission afterwards the 41-year-old said he felt like a ‘Hippopotamus’ in the ring, and it showed as he barely threw a punch in return and wasn’t threatening Fedor with counters.
Fedor began mixing up his punches more looking for an opening through Rampage’s defensive shell and he soon found it, landing a blow to the temple that sent him slowly falling to the mat for a KO finish after just 2.44mins of the first round.
There was also a quick finish in the co-main event as Michael Chandler put late replacement Sidney Outlaw to the sword at the 2.59min mark of the opening round after landing clean with a right hand.
Earlier Michael ‘Venom’ Page was in complete control against Shinsho Anzai, dropping him in the opening round and then knocking him out 23 seconds into the second with a a right hand.
