Bellator 245 Results

Bellator 245 took place last night and we’ve got all the results for you below.

In the main event of the evening Phil Davis won his rematch with Lyoto Machida by split decision after a close, cautious fight in which both men opted to use kicks to try and outpoint the other, and for the second time in his career it was ‘Mr Wonderful’ who did enough to get the nod on the scorecards.

Cat Zingano made her Bellator debut in the co-main event against Gabrielle Holloway and for the most part she was in control and landed some solid takedowns, but there was a scare in the final round when her opponent briefly had full mount and was trying to blast her way to an upset victory, before Zingano got back on top.

Elsewhere on the main card, Taylor Johnson making short work of Ed Ruth courtesy of a heel hook just 59 seconds into the bout, while Raymond Daniels fights with Peter Stanonik came to an unexpected conclusion early in the second round due to Daniels having twice landed illegal kicks to the groin, which left Stanonik in distress and resulted in a no-contest ruling.
