After losing to Rory MacDonald by submission last night at Bellator 179, Paul Daley called out Michael ‘Venom’ Page and then shortly afterwards proceeded to attempt to brawl with the fighter in the crowd at the Wembley Arena!
“Michael Page is a p*ssy,” Daley had declared in his post-fight interview in the cage after his loss. “I got some sh*t on him, but I’m not about to put it out in public. If that p*ssy wants to get in the cage next time here at Wembley, we can do it. The little p*ssy keeps getting injured, like this and like that. P*ssy.”
Then, as Daley exited the cage he suddenly made a beeline for where ‘MVP’ was situated in the crowd and attempted to start a brawl, though officials and security staff, including referee ‘Big’ Dan Miragliotta were able to intervene and separate the two before the situation got completely out of control.
This is not the first time Daley has courted controversy as he was infamously banned for life from fighting in the UFC back in 2010 when he sucker-punched Josh Koscheck after the final bell. Coincidentally, it was also Miragliotta that dragged him away on that occasion as well.
