Below you’ll find the major MMA events to look out for in June with the UFC, Bellator and World Series Of Fighting organizations all scheduled to put on events in the coming weeks.

Friday, June 5th: WSOF 21 – Palmer Vs Horodecki

Where: Alberta, Canada

The month’s action gets underway tomorrow night in Canada with Lance Palmer set to make the first defense of his featherweight title against Chris Horodecki who won his promotional debut back in October of last year.

Co-main event duties here go to former heavyweight tournament finalist Blagoy Ivanov who faces up to Smealinho Rama.

Saturday, June 6th: UFC Fight Night 68 – Henderson Vs Boetsch

Where: New Orleans, United States

Saturday night delivers the first UFC offering of the month as grizzled 44 year-old veteran Dan Henderson looks for a path back to winning ways against Tim Boetsch.

Matt Mitrione Vs Ben Rothwell is your co-main event here with Dustin Poirier also in action in his second bout at 155lbs against Yancy Medeiros.

Saturday, June 13th: UFC 188 – Velasquez Vs Werdum

Where: Mexico City, Mexico

The biggest event of the month finds the UFC back in Mexico with heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez on-board for a title unification bout with the holder of the interim belt, Fabricio Werdum.

Former Strikeforce lightweight champion Gilbert Melendez takes on former Bellator 155lb kingpin Eddie Alvarez in the co-main event spot, while TUF winner Kelvin Gastelum squares up to Nate Marquardt.

Friday, June 19th: Bellator 138 – Kimbo Vs Shamrock

Where: St.Louis, United States

Bellator wheels in something of a freakshow fight to front their 138th event as the 41 year-old Kimbo Slice returns to MMA to take on 51 year-old Ken Shamrock, some seven years after their infamous fight-that-never-was for the Elite XC promotion.

Featherweight champion Patricio ‘Pitbull’ Freire fights Daniel Wiechel in the co-feature while James Thompson Vs Bobby Lashley also features on the main card.

Saturday, June 20th: UFC Fight Night 69 – Jedrzejczyk-vs-Penne

Where: Berlin, Germany

The UFC’s latest visit to Germany is headlined by Polish strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk in her first title defense against Jessica Penne.

Local hero Dennis Siver takes on co-main event duties opposite Japan’s Tatsuya Kawajiri on a card that’s relatively light in terms of star power.

Friday, June 26th: Bellator 139 – Kongo Vs Volkov

Where: Kansas, United States

Bellator have a second event scheduled for June that sees former UFC heavyweight Cheick Kongo looking to trade blows with former champion Alexander Volkov in the main event.

Ex-featherweight title holder Pat Curran is back in action against Goiti Yamauchi in the co-main event here.

Saturday, June 27th: UFC Fight Night 70 – Machida Vs Romero

Where: Florida, United States

The final event in June belongs to the UFC who travel to Florida with a major middleweight showdown between Lyoto Machida and Yoel Romero on tap as the headline attraction.

Meanwhile the always exciting Brazilian Erick Silva looks to string together three wins in a row for the first time in his UFC career against Rick Story in the co-main event.
