This weekend marks the Strikeforce promotions last ever show and they’ve rallied as many of their big name stars as possible to make sure they end with a bang.
Headline duties are taken by welterweight champion Nate Marquardt who’ll attempt to defend his title for the first, and indeed last, time against Tarec Saffiedine.
Strikeforce heavyweight tournament winner Daniel Cormier is back in action as he goes up against Dion Staring knowing that a win is likely to put him straight into the upper echelon of the UFC’s heavyweight roster.
Someone who’s future after this show is still shrouded in doubt is Josh Barnett, with the UFC still non-committal about his future as he prepares to face the relatively unknown Nandor Guelmino.
Gegard Mousasi is a fighter many have wanted to see in the UFC for quite some time and he’ll be looking to impress against Mike Kyle after having spent the last year out of the cage.
The main card is rounded off by a unique UFC Vs Strikeforce fight which sees Ed Herman take on former Strikeforce middleweight champion Ronaldo ‘Jacare’ Souza.
Due to the stacked nature of this card the prelims are also well worthy of your attention, with the likes of Roger Gracie, Tim Kennedy and KJ Noons all in action.
Check out the full card below.
