After a strong UFC 181 event this past Saturday night the good news is that there’s another solid show on tap this coming weekend in the shape of UFC On FOX 13.
Headlining the show is a fight that was originally supposed to take place in Brazil earlier in the year between former champion Junior dos Santos and Stipe Miocic.
In the co-main event Nate Diaz returns from his self-imposed exile for most of 2014 in a challenging match-up with the high-flying Rafael dos Anjos who’s fought his way to No.3 on the lightweight rankings.
The rest of the main card line-up is all about the heavyweights with Alistair Overeem potentially in danger of being cut if he loses to Stefan Struve who’s somewhat curiously not been given an easy first fight back after his heart troubles last year and fainting spell prior to his previous comeback fight earlier in 2014.
Rounding off the main card we find Gabriel Gonzaga looking to bounce back after a loss last time out when he goes up against Matt Mitrione who’s confidence will be high after two KO victories in a row.
