A heavyweight fight between Andrei Arlovski and Walt Harris has been announced for UFC 232 in Las Vegas on December 29th.
The 39-year-old Arlovski comes into the fight off the back of two decision losses in a row against Shamil Abdurakhimov and Tai Tuivasa.
Earlier in the year, ‘The Pitbull’ claimed a decision win over Stefan Struve though and had also emerged victorious against Junior Albini in late 2017 too.
Still, the bigger picture is that the former heavyweight champion has actually only won twice in his past nine fights.
As for the 35-year-old Harris, he comes into this fight after having earned a TKO victory last time out against Daniel Spitz.
Before that, Harris suffered losses against both Fabricio Werdum and Mark Godbeer, which continued an unsettled run in the UFC that’s seen him post an overall 5-6 record.
Arlovski Vs Harris joins an end-of-year UFC 232 card that will be healdined by a long-awaited light-heavyweight rematch between Jon Jones and Alexander Gustafsson for the vacant 205lb title, while there’s another belt on the line in the co-main event as featherweight champion Cris ‘Cyborg’ takes on bantamweight queen Amanda Nunes.
