Anthony Johnson Not Interested In Bellator, Wants Return To UFC At 205lbs

After a long struggle Anthony Johnson seems to have finally settled on the right weight class for his body, and now that he’s committed to the light-heavyweight division he wants to work his way back to the big leagues.

‘Rumble’ is currently on a fight-by-fight deal with Titan FC, but during an interview with MMAfighting’s Ariel Helwani he makes it clear that he has his heart set on a return to the UFC.

“Everybody wants to be that UFC fighter. That’s where you’re going to make your money, that’s where you’re really going to shine.”

Due to his weight cutting issues Johnson angered UFC president Dana White though so a return isn’t guaranteed. With that in mind you’d think he might want to leave the door open for one of the other major promotion’s like Bellator, but that doesn’t appear to be the case.

“I got an offer from Bellator like the day after [I left the UFC]. I’m not against Bellator, I just don’t want to fight for Bellator.”
