Anthony Smith demolished another UFC veteran tonight, knocking out Mauricio ‘Shogun’ Rua in just 99 seconds at UFC Fight Night 134.

The main event of the evening is underway in Hamburg!
Shogun feels out with a leg kick. Jab for Smith and then steps out of danger. Low leg kick from him. Both fighters launch a hook and just stay out of danger.
Left hand glances home from Smith. Nice right hand for Smith. Big strike lands and hurts Smith, but then he fires back with a big right hand that hurts Shogun. A flurry of punches from Smith puts Shogun on his heels as they move from one side of the Octagon to the other.
Shogun in real trouble here as the offensive barrage continues and a massive elbow stops him in his tracks. Shogun sinking slowly to the canvas as more punches land to seal a hugely impressive knockout victory at 1.29mins of the first round!
