Bas Rutten Reveals Inside MMA Show Is Coming To An End

MMA legend Bas Rutten has revealed that the ‘Inside MMA’ show that he hosts alongside Mauro Ranallo on AXS TV is coming to an end due to falling ratings.

The weekly show has been broadcast for the past nine years, with Rutten working alongside co-host Kenny Rice for much of that run, until Rice was replaced by Ranallo earlier this year.

“Some of you already heard it since I am getting overflown with messages,” Rutten wrote on Facebook.

“Yes, unfortunately it is true, Inside MMA is going to call it quits October 1st. Unfortunately not enough people were watching anymore.

It was a surprise to me as well, an bit unpleasant, not because I am out of a job ( I will be fine) but because I am going to miss everybody I worked with!

What a great run we had, what a great guests, never problems, I never had words with Kenny, Ron or Mauro. Same with the producer and the whole team, lets not forget Rachel our make up girl who made us look our best, everybody was like a well oiled happy machine.

So thank you Mark Cuban and everybody involved for these great 9 years, it has been a pleasure to work with you all and wish everybody a huge Godspeed for the future!

Lets take a look at these outtakes they made from me for 2009 “end of the year show”, when AxsTV was still HD Net!
