The BJ Penn Vs Rory MacDonald saga continues to rumble on and the latest twist is that the fight could be getting moved to an entirely different event.

Since MacDonald was forced to withdraw from UFC 152 due to a cut sustained in training the two fighters have been squabbling over whether UFC 153 in October or UFC 154 in November should now host their fight, but now ‘UFC On FOX 5’ in December appears to be the frontrunner.

“We have it on good authority, my insider has told me, that that fight has been set for the Fox card in December,” claimed former UFC fighter Nate Quarry on the latest edition of MMA Uncensored Live on Spike TV last night.

If true that’s a good fight for the FOX show as Penn is still a big name fighter and MacDonald looks like being a future welterweight title challenger. Add in the fact that there’s a genuine rivalry quickly developing between the two men and you’ve got the recipe for a big fight.
