Brendan Allen will fight Christian Leroy Duncan in the main event of UFC Fight Night 290 at the Meta Apex in Las Vegas on October 10th.
The 30-year-old Allen is coming off three big wins in the past 14 months, starting with a unanimous decision victory over Marvin Vettori back in July of last year.
He then TKO’d Reiner de Ridder in the 4th round in October and has since followed that up with a unanimous decision victory over Edmen Shahbazyan on the scorecards in June.
As such Allen is now ranked No.5 in the middleweight division heading into his next fight against Duncan, who might only be No.11 in the rankings, but is currently riding an impressive five-fight winning streak.
That includes Duncan’s wins over the likes of Jared Cannonier, Roman Dolidze and Eryk Anders to land him a match-up that could help propel him up the 185lb ladder if he emerges victorious.
Allen vs. Duncan will front a UFC Fight Night 290 card that will also include the likes of Gerald Meerschaert vs. Julius Walker, Ketlen Souza vs. Loopy Godinez and Andre Fili vs. Kai Kamaka III.
