Cain Velasquez and Junior Dos Santos will meet in the Octagon for a third time when they headline UFC 166 in October Dana White confirmed yesterday.
The heavyweight title fight will take place in Houston, though it’s not expected to take place at the Dallas Cowboy’s stadium.
The two fighters each hold a win over the other, with JDS KO’ing Velasquez back at ‘UFC On FOX 1’ in 2011 to win the belt, while Velasquez clocked up a convincing decision win last year to reclaim it.
Since then Velasquez has successfully defended his belt against Antonio Silva, while Dos Santos KO’d Mark Hunt in order to line up the trilogy fight.
An exact date hasn’t been released yet for the show and no other fights have so far been announced.
