Conor McGregor Involved In Scuffle With Machine Gun Kelly At VMA Awards

Conor McGregor once again finds himself embroiled in a feud after a scuffle with rap star Machine Gun Kelly at the MTV Video Music Awards last night in New York.

McGregor, who was on the red carpet with a walking stick as he continues to recover from the broken leg he suffered earlier in the year, is reported to have went over to MGK to ask for his autograph (something McGregor’s camp have since denied), but the rapper is alleged to have refused and pushed the UFC star away, causing him to partially spill his drink.

Needless to say McGregor responded furiously, throwing his drink at the rapper as well as attempting to punch him too, although security guards managed to keep him away from actually landing a blow, before separating the two.

When asked by a reporter about the incident later, MGK shoved the microphone away and walked off, while McGregor was more willing to speak, but denied anything had happened, despite video and photos of the incident going viral online.

“Absolutely nothing (happened),” McGregor told a reporter. “I don’t know. I just showed up and I don’t know. I don’t even know the guy to be honest with you. Just rumors. Nothing happened with me. I only fight real fighters. People that actually fight. I certainly don’t fight little Vanilla Ice white rappers. I don’t even know the guy. I don’t know anything about him, except that he’s with Megan Fox.”

An interesting extra wrinkle to this incident is that Machine Gun Kelly and his partner Megan Fox were actually cage-side at UFC 264 earlier this year when McGregor broke his leg in the opening round of his trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier.

McGregor has been increasingly confrontational since that major set-back in his career, with everyone from Poirier to Khabib Nurmagomedov, Daniel Cormier, Michael Bisping and Nate Diaz to name but a few having been in his crosshairs during his rants on social media.
