Conor McGregor To Present Movie Marathon On FX This Saturday

Judging by the amount of publicity Conor McGregor has been getting lately The UFC is clearly the Irish stars biggest fan, but they are not the only ones with FX also getting in on the act.

On Saturday, 24 hours before his latest bout with Dennis Siver at UFC Fight Night 59 in Boston, McGregor will present a movie marathon on the FX channel featuring some of his favorite fight films.

‘Gangs Of New York’, ‘The Fighter’ and ‘Taken 2’ will all air with McGregor giving his thoughts on each starting at 1.30PM ET.

It’s remarkable how much of a promotional push ‘The Notorious’ is getting – even more so than well established stars and reigning champions – despite the fact that he’s still only four fights into his UFC career.

Perhaps only Ronda Rousey has experienced anything like this level of attention and more than anything that shows just how eager both the UFC and FOX are for the sport to start developing a new generation of superstars who can genuinely move the needle in the way that the likes of GSP, Brock Lesnar and Chuck Liddell have done in the past.
