Cris ‘Cyborg’ Documentary Preview Reveals Brutal Weight Cut Process

Below you’ll find a new preview for the upcoming fly-on-the-wall documentary starring Cris ‘Cyborg’ Justino, which will focus on her long awaited debut in the UFC earlier this year.

By the looks of things, the behind-the-scenes footage captured the agony of ‘Cyborg’s’ brutal weight cut down to the 140lb catchweight for her fight with Leslie Smith at UFC 198, which apparently left her in tears at one point.

For years UFC President Dana White was adamant that ‘Cyborg’ should make the cut down to 135lbs if she wanted to fight in the UFC, but thankfully they have recently relented, though they’ve stopped short of allowing the Brazilian star to fight in her natural 145lb weight class.

She is now set to compete against Lina Lansberg at UFC Fight Night 95 in Brasilia on September 24th, again at 140bls.
