Cris Cyborg Shows Off Slimmer Figure Ahead Of 140lb Fight In November

Cris ‘Cyborg’ Justino has shown off a new slimmer figure as she prepares for a 140lb catchweight fight in the Invicta FC promotion next month.

The fact that ‘Cyborg’ appears to be making good progress in trimming down her muscular physique bodes well for a potential fight with Ronda Rousey at some point in the not so distant future, though as things stand it’s believed that the Brazilian will still have to prove that she can get down to 135lbs before the biggest fight in woman’s MMA history could take place.

‘Cyborg’ is taking a cautious approach for now though, so the 140lb bout against an as-yet unnamed opponent at Invicta FC 15 will be a stepping stone towards that eventual goal.

The 30 year-old is Invicta FC’s currently 145lb champion and aside from a loss in her first ever professional bout back in 2005 she’s never tasted defeat, with her unbeaten run currently stetching to 15 fights.

Rousey on the other is a perfect 12-0 in her career to date and will also be fighting in November, taking on former boxing champion Holly Holm at UFC 193 in Australia.

The two fighters have been embroiled in a war of words for several years now, and given Rousey’s rise to superstardom over the course of the past year, if they ever do get into the Octagon together it could end up being one of the UFC’s biggest ever fights.
