Dana White Says Woman’s MMA Is Coming To The UFC In The Future

For many years UFC president Dana White has had a strong stance against woman’s mixed martial arts coming to the sport’s leading organization, but after witnessing Ronda Rousey’s rapid rise to superstardom he’s now ready to give them the green light to compete inside the Octagon.

“It’s absolutely going to happen,” White confirms in a new interview with SI.com, adding that it, “could happen tomorrow, it could happen a year from now.”

When it does happen it’s almost guaranteed that Rousey will be the first to be given the opportunity to do so, but it should be stressed that for the time being she’s still contracted to the Strikeforce organization for three more fights.

From the sounds of things that may be all that’s standing in the way of woman’s MMA breaking down the final barrier in front of it at this moment in time.
