DREAM Rises From The Dead For Traditional New Year’s Eve Show

It’s emerged that the DREAM organization aren’t as dead as we thought as they are poised to announce later this week that they’ll be holding their traditional New Year’s Eve show in Tokyo, Japan.

At a press conference scheduled for Thursday it’s expected that DREAM will announce an alliance with the new GLORY promotion for the event, similar to their previous NYE shows in the past which were done in conjunction with another kickboxing based organization K-1.

While no fights have been announced for the December 31st show as yet, Japanese fighters Hiroyuki Takaya, Tatsuya Kawajiri and Satoru Kitaoka are expected to be in attendance as the presser, indicating they will be fighting on the card.

DREAM’s last event, ‘Fight For Japan’ came on NYE’s of 2011 when they featured Fedor Emelianenko Vs Satoshi Ishii as the headline attraction.
