For Junior Dos Santos MMA Comes First, But He’d Like To Try Boxing

UFC heavyweight champion Junior Dos Santos is known to have some of the best hands in the business, clocking up a string of KO wins over some of the best fighter’s in the division, and it’s left the Brazilian wondering how he’d fare in the boxing ring.

“My main objective is to keep my belt. I really love who I am as an MMA fighter, but I want to have a boxing fight one day,” Dos Santos admits in a pre-fight interview with Ariel Helwani.

“Just to test me because I used to train a lot of boxing and I’m a boxing guy. This could be a good challenge for me and a good experience, so I could do that.”

And if he did make good on his word and was lucky enough to be given an opportunity to fight one of the superstars of the ring like one the Klitscho brothers then he feels confident he could be ready to compete in relatively short order.

“Give me three months of preparation and I can fight with anyone in the world, boxing or MMA,” the champion boldly claims.
