Fuel TV Added To Comcast XFinity Cable Line-Up

There’s good news for the UFC and Fuel TV this week as FOX have reached an agreement with Comcast that will see their broadcast outlets, including Fuel, broacast via the Xfinity cable service.

That will significantly extend Fuel TV’s reach as the Xfinity service has approximately 22 million subscribers.

This is great news, and long overdue as Comcast’s substantial customer base has been unable to watch UFC action on Fuel TV since the promotion moved under FOX’s wing from Spike TV at the start of last year.

Comcast customers will now have access to event’s like this weekend’s live ‘UFC On Fuel TV 7’ event in London along with other original programming such as the flagship ‘UFC Tonight’ show and live weigh-ins and post-fight coverage.

It’s not clear whether this deal was finally struck after news emerged that later this year Fuel TV will be rebranded as ‘FOX Sports 2’, but either way it’s a very big step in the right direction for the channel.
