The UFC have now revealed the full list of A-List celebrities who have each purchased a small stake in the company, courtesy of new owners WME-IMG.
They include oscar-winning actor Ben Affleck, blockbuster movie director Michael Bay, leading music producer Calvin Harris, rapper LL Cool J, NFL superstar Tom Brady, Tennis sisters Serana & Venus Williams, talk-show host Jimmy Kimmel and business mogul Robert Kraft to name but a few.
There’s also some well known UFC fans on the list, with the likes of Red Hot Chilli Pepper’s singer Anthony Keidis and actor Mark Wahlberg having been spotted at UFC events numerous times over the years, while even ‘Rocky’ himself, Sylvester Stallone is getting a piece of the action.
“Expanding our ownership group to include this caliber of talent and entrepreneurs is a strong indicator of UFC’s fast-growing global presence,” UFC President Dana White stated in a press release. “Our new investors bring an incredible depth of knowledge and experience to help us continue to elevate this brand and capitalize on its entertainment and sports crossover appeal.”
