Holly Holm Talks About Her Upcoming UFC Debut And Her Grappling

Holly Holm was on the latest episode of AXS TV’s ‘Inside MMA’ show where she had a chance to talk about her upcoming debut in the UFC against Raquel Pennington which takes place on December 6th.

The former boxing world champion admits to some relief that she now has an opponent to focus on and while she acknowledges there’s some pressure on here shoulders given the hype surrounding her, she’s excited to get into the Octagon and make her debut.

Of course Holm is best known as a deadly striker thanks to both her boxing background and her kickboxing which has been on full display in her seven fights to date, with six of her wins coming by way of strikes.

However, there’s still a big question mark over her grappling and she admits that she still has a lot to learn, but she’s embracing that challenge and is enjoying the chance to learn new skills after being in the boxing world for many years.

Speaking of boxing, Holm says that she had always intended to leave the sport if her passion for it dwindled, and as things stand her heart is now with mixed martial arts.
