Ikram Aliskerov made a statement tonight with a big TKO finish over Warlley Alves on the UFC 294 main card, initially dropping him with a jab, then punishing him when he got back up by landing a huge flying knee and follow-up punches to seal the deal.

Round One:

Push kick to the body for Aliskerov. Another push kick from him as he looks to maintain distance. Leg kick for alves disrupts Aliskerov’s balance for a moment. Aliskerov checks a kick.

Jab from Aliskerov. He goes for a right hand and now another push kick. Punches exchanged. Aliskerov back to the push kick.

Alves misses with a leg kick. Aliskerov tries to measure a straight right down the pipe. Soon after he does tag him hard with a jab that drops him for a moment.

Alves rights himself quickly, but Aliskerov is immediately back on him and throws a head kick that’s blocked, followed by a dynamic flying knee to the head that lands flush. Alves is left rocked on his feet as Aliskerov unloads a flurry of punches, sinking him to the canvas for an impressive TKO finish at 2.07mins of the first round.
