In the main event Cris ‘Cyborg’ Justino effortlessly defended her featherweight title as she demolished Charmaine Tweet in just 46 seconds after initially hurting her with a big overhand right.
‘Cyborg’, who passed a drug test in the days prior to the fight, has now gone unbeaten in 14 fights spanning over nine years of competition.
The big news during the Invicta FC event was that Dana White, Lorenzo Fertitta and matchmaker Sean Shelby were all cageside to watch ‘Cyborg’s’ performance admist rumors that she’s closer than ever to finally signing with the promotion.
“I am trying to make 135 pounds,” Cyborg stated at the post-fight presser. “I know everyone wants to see me fight Ronda Rousey. I am going to try very hard to make this fight happen.”
