Jiri Prochazka will fight Navajo Stirling in the main event of UFC Fight Night 294 in Al Rayyan, Qatar on November 21st.

A former light-heavyweight champion, the 33-year-old Prochazka has been trying to fight his way back to champion status for the past three years, but has now come up empty-handed in three separates title challenges.

That includes his latest attempt, which saw him going up against Carlos Ulberg for the vacant belt back in April, which saw him suffer a 1st round KO defeat.

However, before that Prochazka had earned two wins in a row via strikes against Jamahal Hill and Khalil Rountree Jr, so he’s still ranked No.3 in the division, and could well be right back into title contention if he wins this fight.

The 28-year-old Stirling is undefeated in his 11-fight career to date, including six wins in the UFC so far since joining from the Contender Series in 2024.

Stirling has had a busy 2026 campaign already against a steadily more challenging slate of opposition that’s seen him finish Bruno Lopes, Ion Cutelaba and Jan Blachowicz via TKO to take the No.7 spot on the light-heavyweight ladder.

Prochazka vs. Stirling fronts a UFC Fight Night 294 event that will also feature the likes of Aljamain Sterling vs. Kevin Vallejos, Brian Ortega vs. Dan Hooker and Jared Cannonier vs. Ikram Aliskerov.
