Josh Emmett KO’s Bryce Mitchell In Less Than Two Minutes At UFC 296

Josh Emmett dished out one of the most brutal knockout finishes of the year against Bryce Mitchell tonight at UFC 296.

Round One:

Emmett circling on the outside to start. Emmett punches to the body. Missed leg kick from Mitchell and then from Emmett soon after.

Bit of a lull as they wait for their moment to engage. Almost two minutes down with not much happening, but then suddenly Mitchell steps forward just as Emmett launches a thunderous overhand and it knocks him out cold on the spot at just 1.57mins of the opening round!

It’s a brutal finish and unfortunately Mitchell can be seen convulsing on the mat for a few seconds afterwards. However thankfully he does then come too and is seen talking to officials, but when he gets back to his feet he’s still on wobbly legs.
