August is already underway and we’ve got our guide to the must-see MMA events of the month for you below.

Saturday, 6th August:

UFC Fight Night 92 – Rodriguez Vs Caceres
Location: Utah, USA

The action begins this weekend at UFC Fight Night 92 in Salt Lake City when rising Mexican star Yair Rodriguez looks to extend his unbeaten run in the promotion to five fights against the crafty. Alex ‘Bruce Leeroy’ Caceres.

Meanwhile, in the co-main event top 10 featherweight Dennis Bermudez faces Rony ‘Jason’ and Thales Leites is also on-board fighting Chris Camozzi.

Saturday, 20th August:

UFC 202 – McGregor Vs Diaz II
Location: Las Vegas, USA

UFC 202 features arguably the biggest fight of the year as Conor McGregor attempts to avenge his loss to Nate Diaz in a welterweight rematch that everybody wants to see.

While that fight will garner all the pre-fight attention, the co-main event also features Anthony ‘Rumble’ Johnson going up against Glover Teixiera, while Donald Cerrone is back in action at 170lbs fighting Rick Story.

Friday, 26th August:

Bellator 160 – Henderson Vs Pitbull
Location: Los Angeles, USA

Bellator 160 will be headlined by former UFC lightweight champion Ben Henderson, who’s dropping back down to 155lbs to fight Patricio ‘Pitbull’ Freire after an unsuccessful title shot at 170lbs in his debut earlier in the year.

The co-main event finds Bubba Jenkins taking on Georgi Karakhanyan, while the late Kimbo Slice’s son Kevin Ferguson Jr makes his pro debut against fellow newcomer Jonathan Tomasian.

Saturday, 27th August:

UFC On FOX 21 – Condit Vs Maia
Location: Vancouver, Canada

The UFC returns for their 21st show on FOX at the tail end of the month with recent welterweight title contender Carlos Condit back in action against the in-form Demian Maia.

Former lightweight champion Anthony Pettis is also set to make his featherweight debut against Charles ‘Do Bronx’ Oliveira in the co-main event, while Paige VanZant will return to the Octagon to fight Bec Rawlings, and Jim Miller Vs Joe Lauzon rounds off the main card.
