Michael Bisping Vs Alan Belcher Lands UFC 159 Co-Main Event Spot

Michael Bisping Vs Alan Belcher has been announced as the co-main event for April 27th’s UFC 159 event in San Jose.

Bisping vowed to get back in the Octagon sooner rather than later after his tough loss to Vitor Belfort earlier this month, and he’s stayed true to his word.

Like Bisping, Belcher was also in the title hunt at 185lbs up until recently when he lost out to Yushin Okami at UFC 155, and so this seems like the ideal way for one of these two fighters to bounce right back into the mix.

This bout will serve as the lead-in to one of the biggest fights of the year so far between TUF 17 coaches Jon Jones and Chael Sonnen, and with the likes of Roy Nelson, Phil Davis and Jim Miller slated for the main card this is shaping up to be a strong event a week after the UFC’s next show on FOX.
