Mike “Platinum” Perry is set to face off against Alan “Brahma” Jouban at UFC on Fox 22 in Sacremento.
Mike Perry is starting to make a name for himself in the UFC’s welterweight division. Platinum is 2-0 in the UFC with a professional MMA record of 9-0 all of which were knockouts.
Perry’s two wins in the UFC came at UFC 202 when he TKO’d Hyun Gyu Lim in the first round and at UFC 204 when he KO’d Danny Roberts in the third round.
Incredibly Perry’s fight against Jouban will be his fifth MMA fight of this year, sending a message to the rest of the welterweight division that he means business.
Alan Jouban will surely be Perry’s toughest fight to date. Jouban is coming off two wins in the UFC and holds a professional record of 14-4, with his 18 professional MMA fights he has twice as much experience inside the octagon as Perry. Luckily for the fan’s Jouban similar to Perry likes to put on a performance with his last fight against Belal Muhammed earning him a fight of the night bonus.
With a win over Jouban, Perry will up his profile from up and coming prospect to future title contender and will continue his undefeated streak.
