Nick Diaz kicks off his new sideline as an MMA promoter this evening with the first edition of ‘WAR MMA’ and he’s come up with an innovative pricing scheme for people hoping to stream the show live.
The promotion’s official website claims that you’ll be able to “pay what you want” to watch the show live on the internet, with the highest bidder receiving a pair of MMA gloves signed by both Nick and Nate Diaz.
There’s also a few innovations when it comes to the fights themselves. For one thing WAR MMA will use a ring instead of a cage and banning elbows on the ground, while ‘effective offense’ will be an important judging criteria.
The event is headlined by former UFC fighter Daniel ‘Ninja’ Roberts Vs Justin Baesman and the action begins at 8pm EST.
