Renato Moicano made short work of Damir Hadzovic tonight at UFC Fight Night 170, tapping him out with a rear-naked choke in the opening minute.
Round One:
Leg kick for Hadzovic. He misses with a front kick upstairs. Right hook for Moicano and then works into a takedown and lands it.
Moicano spins around to Hadzovic’s back and is sinking in a quick rear-naked choke. He’s got it in tight and that’s it, Hadzovic taps out just 44 seconds into the fight!
Moicano stands back up and then leans over Hadzovic and seemingly has a not so friendly verbal exchange with Hadzovic.
It’s puzzling exactly what that was all about, with Moicano being heard to say he didn’t have anything against Hadzovic, but there’s still tension between the two and officials keep them apart.
