In the main event, Kyoji Horiguchi stunned Ian McCall by knocking him out with a perfect right hook counter just 9 seconds into the fight.
The injury-plagued ‘Uncle Creepy’ was undertaking only his second fight in the past three-and-a-half years and given all the setbacks he’s suffered it could be that the 33-year-old will now be seriously considering the possibility of retirement.
As for Horiguchi, the Rizin bantamweight champion now has six wins since joining the promotion and in total is on a nine-fight winning streak if you count his prior trio of victories in the Octagon before leaving the UFC a year ago.
